ISO 9001: 2008 QMS Internal Audit Training
A) Course Objective:-
A-1)
To develop skills for conducting internal audits of ISO 9001: 2000 Quality
Management System.
A-2) To prepare First Party Auditors (For conducting Internal Audits Only)

C) Eligibility / Prior Knowledge of Students / Participants: -  

C-1) It is recommended that the students attending this course shall have adequate
knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and some prior knowledge of QMS standard.
OR
C-2) Must have attended our (SSQMI's) ISO 9001 QMS Awareness & Documentation
training
Important Note / Warning : - No prior knowledge as above may lead to
unsuccessful completion of this course and the gaps in this knowledge may not be
covered during this course.

D) Pre- Course Questionnaire: -
Fill complete Pre-course Questionnaire, to know / Test your prior knowledge.



E) Certification: - A Certificate of Successful Completion will be issued to those
delegates who satisfactorily complete the continuous assessment and pass a formal
written examination of one hour. Those not wishing to sit in the examination or
adjudged not to have reached the required standard of competence will be issued a
Certificate of Attendance.

F) Registration with Auditors Registration Board (like IRCA / NRBPT): - Successful
completion of the Internal Auditor Training Course will in itself
not satisfy the training
requirement for IRCA / NRBPT registration to any grade of QMS auditor.

For registration with Auditors Registration Board like IRCA / NRBPT,        
participants should complete “Lead Auditors (Five Days) Course”]

G) Evaluation of student / participants:-
The delegate (student / participant) must pass the continuous assessment    in
addition to the final exam in order to obtain a certificate of successful completion.
Minimum 70% marks required for both, in continuous assessment & final exam.

G-1>Continuous Assessment: - (Continuous evaluation by the instructors of each
student's attitude, auditing capability, written and oral communication skills and
performance as a team member and in role playing)
i) Attendance (daily 2 marks)
ii) Punctuality (daily 2 marks)
iii) Participation (daily 4 marks)
iv) Exercise -1 / Case Study - 1 (daily 5 marks)
v) Exercise – 2 / Case Study - 2 (daily 5 marks)
vi) End Of Day One (1) test (10 marks)
vi) Total = Day 1 + Day 2 = 28 + 18 = 46 marks (pass marks = minimum 25)

G-2>Final (written) Examination: - (A written examination that covers the learning
objectives and in particular the application of audit principles and practices to ISO
9001)
i) Time / Duration = One Hour (60 minutes)
ii) Total Marks = 100 marks (Pass marks = 70)
iii) At least 75% of the examination grade shall be based on questions that require
essay response and shall demonstrate the student's ability to analyze audit scenarios
and understanding of how to apply the ISO 9001 standard during the audit.

The fees will cover expenses for providing course notes, ball pen, writing pad, lunch
and tea.

Fees once paid will not be refunded; it may be adjusted for future training courses
during the same financial year.

M) Accommodation: -   1)  The course is non-residential. 2) Participants should make
arrangement for their stay. OR We can arrange hotel accommodation near venue
@900/- to @ 1200/- par day. (check-out time 9 am ).

N) Venue: -   a) SSQMI's Seminar Hall, Shop # 2, New Gokul Plaza, Ground floor,
Opposite Videocon Towers, Thakur Complex, Kandivali (East), Mumbai - 400 101.

c) If we receive payments from more than 8 participants, then  we will be
communicate to participants, two days prior to seminar date and then seminar will be
held at Hotel Atithi .
d) If you will not receive any communication regarding change in Venue, then it will be
held @ SSQMI's seminar hall, @Kandivali, only.

O) Trainers: - We have a team of Eight (8) competent trainers (including two Six
Sigma Master Black Belt Trainers). We have conducted more than 2000 such seminars
& having more than 15 years of Industrial & Professional experience

P) Important Note :-
1) The admission will be on "First- Come- First-Served" basis.
2) Participants should not proceed to the venue of the course without receiving
confirmation of nomination.
3) Participants will not be permitted to attend the course, if the payment is not sent
along with the nomination or with the nominee (On last date we accept only cash /
demand draft).
4)The complete name & address of the Sponsoring Organisation should be indicated
on letter-mail.
5)Certificates of attendance will be issued to the participants at the end of the course.
